The numerous awards winning Ghanaian legendary artist, Rocky Dawuni, has recently sent his goodwill message to all the Ghanaians, ahead of the up and coming general election 2016, which are slated for December 8, 2016. He has issued an exclusive statement to the media, in which he expressed his intense love to the Ghana and his people.
Rocky Dawuni has called upon all the Ghanaians to vote for the ‘strong and highly transformative’ president. As indicated by him, ‘As a Ghanaian, I wanted to share some of the very important insights, ahead of the December polls. My supplication to all the Ghanaians is that now more than whenever in late history, we need solid and transformative authority.
He proceeded with, ‘When you take a gander at the current worldwide political scene and its rising populist and nationalistic movements; exemplified by Brexit and the recent election of Donald Trump in America we need to comprehend that our own prosperity as a country and as Africans would lie in our own hands and our ability to adjust the changing conditions. There is a quick need for us to endeavor towards independence and adjust our aggregate goals towards upliftment of each other.
Black Star artist said, ‘Ghana needs an administration that can ascend past socio-political divisions to motivate and bring together our nation towards a common purpose. We require a pioneer that can likewise genuinely comprehend the restored desperation of our duty to Africans on the landmass and to our siblings and sisters in the Diaspora’.
